I have these in two sizes (there's a smaller one that's handy too). They're great for anything you have you need to store, especially in the 'fridge as they take up less room since they're square and they will NOT take on any odors or staining from ingredients. So in other words, it's the ONLY storage container I use for anything I make containing tomatoes (and their juice)/onions/garlic, etc. I've even used this size to hold ice & a variety of beers when entertaining. Just MAKE SURE you buy the lid (comes separately) as it's a MUST for a good, solid seal plus with the lids you can easily stack them. They are truly a lifetime purchase and would make a wonderful shower gift!
