These square shaped boxes store up to 25 percent more on a shelf than round containers. The Rubbermaid food containers keep your food items fresh, clean, and protected from outside germs. The containers are also leak-resistant.

This food container also prevents food items from drying out. Each of these square food containers measures 8.8 x 8.75 x 2.7inches and are dishwasher safe. Included on the container are precise measurement graduations. Lids (RCP 6302 CLE) are sold separately. LOVE these containers! Since they're square they take up less room, they nest together nicely for storage and they won't get that nasty "scarring" if you store acidic food in them. I have several sizes that I use regularly. Another plus is the fact they're clear you can see what's inside. Don't forget (like I did the first time), you need to buy the lids separately and the lids are a MUST in my book. One quick note... we had some friends over last night for drinks so we took two of the large ones, stuck an assortment of beers inside and then dumped ice all around. Was easy to see what was available and cleanup was a breeze!
