Featuring a log-periodic design for UHF reception, the PHDTV3 offers a narrow angle of signal acceptance that helps reduce multi-path and increases reception of DTV signals. In addition, the product's design helps reduce spurious or unwanted signals from the side and rear for uninterrupted programming. The PHDTV3 also features a very low noise amplifier with adjustable gain up to 10 dB to maintain excellent Carrier-to-Noise ratio that is critical for digital reception. With approximately 10 percent of DTV broadcast transmissions in the VHF band, dual VHF 40 inch dipoles make the PHDTV3 equally adept for VHF DTV as well as analog.With an impact-resistant plastic cabinet and glossy silver paint finish, the PHDTV3 provides excellent performance in an unobtrusive package. Featuring a low-profile contemporary style, the PHDTV3 boasts the same basic footprint of the original Silver Sensor Classic with added attention to design.
