Bidex Heavy-Duty Rotary Trimmer
• Premium carbide blade
• Patented rail system holds paper firmly to ensure a sharp edge and precise cut
• Calibrated metal base provides accuracy and added stability
• Cuts mat board, card stock, plastic sheets, etc.
• Manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty (excludes blade and cutting mats)
Cuts up to 30 sheets (based on 20-lb. bond). Adjustable magnetic paper gauge holds materials onto metal base, while rail mechanism locks materials for precise cut. Features a handy storage compartment for extra blades and cutting mats. Cuts 1/8" foam board. Replacement blades (CUI14028/14031) sold separately.

Bottom Line: not recommended
I had hoped this would be the ultimate papercutter for my book arts. Unfortunately the guide to keep papers at the right place for consistent cuts is wobbly and does not stay at a perfect right angle so that papers are not cut accurately. I have put a triangle at the outside edge to keep it at a right angle but it still slips and cuts are not accurate. I do like the stability of the cutting mechanism and the way that it locks down. The cutting mat strip has worn out on it's initial side with only one small cutting project completed so I can see that many of those will be used up.
