DETAILS: GLAD ForceFlex® bags are the only trash bags with Stretchable Strength® technology. These days, everything has to stretch a little further, which is exactly what GLAD ForceFlex® bags were designed to do. Stretches to prevent punctures and rips. Stuff it with just about anything, even boxes.
GLAD ForceFlex® bags use a proprietary plastic technology known as SELFING (Structurally Elastic-Like Film.) The plastic is in GLAD ForceFlex® bags is deeply embossed with a diamond-like pattern that gives the material unique elasticity. Pressure is diverted away from the point of impact so that the trash bag will absorb force and stretch instead of breaking. The pattern isn't made from thicker plastic - it's made from "smarter plastic" that allows the bag to stretch around objects instead of letting them poke through. This technology was originally developed for the diaper manufacturing and feminine protection products industries.
