“Going Green” Doesn’t Mean Spending Green for Spring Cleaning Products

According to survey by GreenSeal.org, despite the country’s economic downturn, 82 percent of consumers said they are still buying green products – even though they can often cost more than other cleaning products. Half of the 1,000 people surveyed responded that they are buying just as many green products now as before the recession, 19 percent said they are buying even more green products and 14 percent said they are now buying fewer green products, including cleaning products and janitorial cleaning supplies.
To help encourage consumers to continue using green products, ReStockIt.com makes it easy for users of their website to find environmentally friendly products by offering a “green” option in their search and by labeling each item with a “Green Product” icon.
