The formula in this bathroom cleaner performs three vitals steps in one simple processit cleans, disinfects and deodorizes. The nonabrasive formula contains solvents and surfactants to effectively penetrate and dissolve tough soap scum and hard waterand does so without the need for rinsing or leaving a residue. The EPA registered cleaner is a medical environment disinfectant capable of killing a broad spectrum of germs, including salmonella, staphylococcus, pseudomonas, and odor-causing bacteria including proteus mirabilis and E. coli.
The EPA has posted information on their website listing over 500 disinfectant products registered for use on hard, non-porous surfaces against influenza A viruses. EPA believes, based on available scientific information, that the currently registered influenza A virus products will be effective against the 2009-H1N1 flu strain and other influenza A virus strains on hard, non-porous surfaces. This P&G product is listed among the products the EPA has cited as being effective against the 2009-H1N1 flu strain.
